Some great Firework ideas. Art and Cooking

Fireworks by Geni Sylvestri

1. Cut slits around one side of the toilet paper roll with scissors. You can cut the slits as long and as wide as you wish.
2. Use your fingers to press or fold down the sides of the roll to the end of the slit. You can press down on them on the table to fan them out.

3. Pour the paints on paper plates. You can pour one colour per plate, or you can pour a couple of colors on one plate to get a different effect.

4. Tilt the plate so that the paint can spread out on the plate. If you are having trouble getting the paint to spread out, then you can use a paintbrush to help.

5. Dip the toilet paper roll in the blue paint gently.

6 Stamp the toilet paper roll on a piece of paper.
Use a separate toilet paper roll, dip it in the red paint.

7Stamp the toilet paper roll on top of the blue “fireworks.”
8 Repeat for more fireworks!
Optional: Fireworks are not just blue and red! Play with other colour combinations and see what you come up with! You can use a kitchen roll too

A mix here. Teatime with sausages, melon and blueberries. Some for littlies and some older.
