Themes cover all or most areas of learning, sometimes leaning to specific ones. The opportunities for flying with themes is extraordinary! Such fun to be had. The age bands are arbitrary.

Most children will be good at some things and not so good at others. Some children show a bent for all things artistic, physical or musical etc

You need to nurture those strengths, those talents are a gift.

EVERYONE of our children will read, write and count eventually. There is no point whatsoever in rushing children in basic skills. They will develop at their own rate in spite of you! 

You can create an "I can" chart to see how much progress is being made.
